About Us

Our Story

In the beginning (87') there were 8 families (from several neighboring Christian Reformed Churches) with a shared and Spirit-inspired idea of bringing the good news of God to a growing Mill Creek community. This vision came to life in 1988 under the pastorship of Rev. Ken Rip.

After several years of pastoring our congregation, Rev. Ken took a call to another ministry. Our Assistant Pastor Eleanor Rietkerk took over as the lead pastor of the congregation in 1997.

Several telethons, numerous leaflet campaigns, and four different meeting locations later and we finally found our home! We moved into our own facility on North Road on December 16, 2001. In January 2013, Pastor Eleanor retired after 15 years of brilliant ministery with Mill Creek Community Church.

At the end of 2013 Pastor Chris Allen joined the MCCC family continuing on the passion for loving on the people of Mill Creek and the surrounding communities. In 2017 Pastor Chris was called to a new ministry out of the country.

MCCC is so blessed by the legacies left behind by all former staff and pastors and 30 years of ministry. We look forward to seeing where our story with God takes us next!

Mill Creek Community Church is currently being shepharded by our Interim Pastor, Pastor Clay Libolt.
